BE PART OF SOMETHING BIG

Every year Toastmasters clubs around the world hold various types of contests at the club, area, division levels and beyond. Competing is great, but so is volunteering your time and experience in one of the many roles required to run a successful contest! Judges should be trained, but there are many other roles to take as well.

If you’re judging, familiarize yourself with the judging ballot so you don’t have to refer back to it as the speaker talks or stumble through it after they’ve finished. All contest officials should be briefed before the contest starts to ensure they’re up to speed on the role they will play.
