Pathways<\/span><span class=\"\" data-url=\"\" data-target=\"blank\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)<\/span><\/div><div class=\"su-tabs-panes\"><div class=\"su-tabs-pane su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" data-title=\"NEW! Pathways\"> This is the new educational program Toastmasters has developed and rolled out in 2017-2018.<\/p>\n<p>Features:<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Managed largely online (in &#8220;Base Camp&#8221;), with videos, quizzes, etc.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> New skills &amp; projects.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> There are 10 paths to choose from (see FAQ).<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Each path has 5 levels of mastery (see FAQ).<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toastmasters.org\/start-pathways\">See more on the Toastmasters site (TM.org).<\/a><\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toastmasters.org\/start-pathways\/choose-your-path\">Take the quiz &#8211; find your path! (TM.org)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toastmasters.org\/Education\/Pathways\/FAQ\">Pathways FAQ (TM.org)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-tabs-pane su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" data-title=\"Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)\"> This is the highest designation you can achieve in Toastmasters, after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toastmasters.org\/education\/~\/media\/3d9772a17dbf407590d1a96896d9e5c9.ashx\">completing the following Pathways requirements (click here for a chart on TM.org):<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Complete two learning paths.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Serve as a club officer for 12 months. (If your club has six-month terms for officers, you can fulfill this requirement by serving as a club officer twice, but you don\u2019t have to do it in consecutive terms.)<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Serve a complete one-year term as a district officer.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Serve successfully as a club mentor or coach.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Serve successfully as a club sponsor or conduct a Speechcraft or Youth Leadership program.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-square-o\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Complete the DTM project.
